At linkidox, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.

1. Information We Collect

When you sign in using your Google account, we only request access to basic profile information necessary to operate the service:

• Your full name
• Your email address
• Your profile picture

This information is used to identify you within the linkidox service, associate documents with your account, and pre-fill your email address during the signing process.

2. Document Handling

Currently, all documents must be manually uploaded from your device. We do not access your local files or cloud storage accounts automatically.

• Uploads: You have full control over which files you upload to our platform.
• Storage: Uploaded documents and their signature logs are stored securely on our servers using Cloudflare R2, which provides encryption at rest.
• Downloads: You can download your original or signed documents back to your device at any time from your dashboard.

3. Future Google Drive Integration

We are planning to add Google Drive integration to make it easier to import and export your documents. When this feature becomes available, we will ask for your explicit consent to access your Google Drive. This access will be strictly limited to:

• Allowing you to select and import documents from your Drive into linkidox.
• Allowing you to save your signed documents from linkidox directly to your Drive.

Even with this feature, linkidox will never access, read, or modify any files in your Google Drive without your direct action.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or your documents with third-party marketers or advertisers. Access to documents is restricted to those who have the secure signing link generated by our service.

5. Security

We use secure HTTPS connections for all data transfer, and all files are stored in a secure cloud environment. Every signing action is recorded in a transparent audit log to ensure the integrity of your documents.

6. Data Deletion

You can delete your documents from your dashboard at any time. When a document is deleted, the file and all associated signature logs are permanently removed from our active servers.

7. Google API Services Disclosure

linkidox's use and planned future transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
